Notice Regarding Canada Post Service Disruption
PUBLIC NOTICE
Canada Post Service Disruption – Mail Delivery Delays
Due to the ongoing Canada Post strike, mail delivery may be delayed.
This situation may affect you if:
- You are expecting invoices, payments, or correspondence from the Municipality
- You have recently mailed a payment to the Municipality
To avoid inconvenience, please review the following options:
Receiving Your Bills
To prevent mail delays, consider signing up for E-Billing for your water and wastewater accounts.
E-Billing allows you to receive your bills by email instead of regular mail. You can register online at redlake.ca/signup or contact the Municipal Office for assistance.
Payment Options
Payments can continue to be made using any of the following methods:
- In Person – at the Municipal Office during regular business hours (cash, cheque, credit card or debit accepted). Please note that processing fees will apply to credit card transactions.
- In Person – at your bank.
- E-Transfer – to treasury@redlake.ca. Please include the account type (taxes or water/sewer), account number or property address in the message.
- Online Banking – add the Municipality as a payee for either taxes or water/sewer. Each bank payee name may be different, please contact your bank to confirm the exact name. The account number required will be the roll number. Please ensure you allow for adequate time for your payment to be received on or before the due date.
- Pre-Authorized Payments – sign up to have payments for your water and/or tax accounts automatically withdrawn from your bank account on the due date. Sign up at redlake.ca/pre-authorized-debit-application/
Please be advised that amounts will remain due as noted on your invoice.
Vendors
If you are a vendor expecting payment by cheque, please contact Accounts Payable at accounts.payable@redlake.ca or (807) 735-2096 to arrange for cheque pick-up or to switch to Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT) for direct deposit.
For general inquiries or assistance, please contact the Municipal Office at (807) 735-2096.
Thank you for your patience and cooperation during this service disruption.
