Red Lake Community

Resource Centre Ontario Early Years Site

The Red Lake Community Resource Centre/Ontario Early Years Site is a place for families to engage in meaningful interactions in and environment suited to the needs of children 0 – 6 years of age.

Featured programs, all free of charge, include craft, snack and circle time, visits out in our community, indoor gym time during the cold winter months, evening programs and play days every Saturday.

Our programming is theme based and our crafts and community visits reflect this. We have guest speakers in to discuss child-related topics with parents and caregivers and to answer any questions they might have.

The Red Lake Community Resource Centre is a great place to meet new families in the community and to further enhance your child’s social, emotional, and language development.

We have two sites to accommodate the families in our communities. Please visit us at 265 Howey Street (side entrance) in Red Lake or at the Golden Learning Centre, room 11 (lower level) in Balmertown. Calendars and newsletter to keep you informed of what is happening are available at these sites. Please call either site for more information. Red Lake - 727-3576 or Balmertown – 735-2755.
