Sustainable Community Planning involves looking at the long-term future we want for our community and what we need to do to address social, cultural, economic, and environmental challenges today while leaving a positive legacy for future generations. It is important that our Sustainable Community Plan reflect the ideas and priorities of our community as it will be used to guide short-, medium and long-term decision making for the Municipality. Community consultation will include interviews, discussions and workshops with stakeholder groups, community meetings, a citizen survey and general feedback.
