Red Lake's land use, planning, and development policy

The Official Plan states Red Lake's plans and policies to guide short-term and long-term development of all lands within the footprint of the municipality. It also provides direction for the allocation of land, municipal services and facilities, and by-laws to control the development and land use. These policies are necessary to promote growth.

The Plan is not an inflexible document and will change with our economic situation, because of this the plan is monitored and updated periodically to preserve the integrity of the document.
